Capital One opened its lounge at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in February 2025. This is the fifth lounge that Capital One operates (aside from its incredible Capital One Landing in Washington DC). We had some time on the way home yesterday and stopped by to check out the lounge.
Anthony’s Take: The lounge feels small at 8,200 square feet and all of the seating and amenities are found in one curved room. Like other Capital One Lounges, this one offers a buffet of small plates as well as grab-and-go options. We were in the lounge a short time, but the food was tasty and the staff was friendly. I found it less crowded than the nearby Centurion Lounge and will return in the future.
Access
When you’re in Concourse D, take the escalator up and turn right to reach the lounge. You can see the lounge when you’re in the atrium after exiting the tram. Access to Capital One Lounges is granted to the following customers at complimentary and discounted rates:
- Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card (and any authorized users) enjoy unlimited complimentary access, plus complimentary entry for two guests (entry costs $45 for each additional guest). Capital One Landing access allows for one guest.
- Capital One Venture X Business primary cardholders enjoy unlimited complimentary access, plus complimentary entry for two guests (entry costs $45 for each additional guest). Capital One Landing access allows for one guest.
- Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Spark Miles for Business cardholders can purchase entries for $45 per visit.
- All other Capital One cardholders and non-cardholders can pay $90 per visit.
- Kids under the age of two, accompanied by eligible cardholders, receive complimentary entrance. Children 17 and under cost $25 each.
- A boarding pass for a departing or connecting, same-day flight, up to three hours before their departure time is required for entry.
Starting in February 2026, Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Venture X Business cardholders will need to spend $75,000 annually to gain free guest access. If this threshold is not met, the above rates apply per guest. Authorized users can gain access for an additional $125 annual fee.
A desk to the left has agents to check credentials upon entry.
Bar
Like other Capital One Lounges, all cocktails, beer, and wine are complimentary.
The sparkling water machine was out of order.
Capital One also offers a soda fountain with some unique flavors.
Drip coffee was also on offer.
Tea was set up around the corner.
Another beverage station is on the far wall past the bar. I was surprised to not see a coffee machine to make espresso drinks in the lounge.
More coffee and water were up front near reception.
Food
All of the food in the Capital One Lounge is available on a buffet and nicely portioned. Lunch/dinner was being served when we visited and menu items included a mix of hot and cold items. I like that these are all set up for guests to grab without having to worry about them contaminating a larger dish.
Summer Bruschetta
Panzanella Salad
Mushroom and Vegetable Curry with Basmati Rice
Turkey Meatballs with Marinara Pasta
Braised Short Rib with Ratatouille Ragu
Grilled Chicken Thigh with Lemon Butter and Pearl Couscous
Parsnip Soup
Charcuterie
Roasted Garlic Hummus with Local Root Vegetables
Orange Blossom Olive Oil Cake
Tiramisu
Other desserts were found in a separate buffet.
Zucchini Bread
Stuffed Doughnuts
Flourless Chocolate Brownies
Gluten-free Cookies
These same desserts along with Chocolate Chip Cookies were up front near reception.
A grab-and-go case offering various salads, fruit, sandwiches, and boxed water was also found here.
There were also several snacks that could be enjoyed in the lounge or taken to go. The beverage section here was much more limited than at other Capital One Lounges.
I ended up sampling several dishes. Everything was quite good.
Seating & Décor
The décor is modern with some fun art scattered around the lounge.
When you walk to the left from here, you find the main room with all of the seating. There were lots of open couches, tables, and seats at counters throughout the lounge.
The art throughout the lounge was modern. It had nothing to do with Las Vegas and gave no sense of place, but it was playful.
Amenities
This Capital One Lounge offers free Wi-Fi, a quiet room, private restrooms, a departures board, phone booths for taking calls (pictured above), and the food and beverages mentioned above.
This was the only Las Vegas-themed art I saw.
Capital One offers some of the nicest lounge bathrooms in the US. They’re clean and spacious.
A departures board is posted near the entrance. No flight announcements are made within the lounge.
I liked the views of the atrium and the tarmac from the lounge.
Chocolates with a QR code to complete a survey were a parting gift.
Overall Impression:
Capital One is running great lounges in more and more locations acrtoss the United States. The Las Vegas location has a tasty menu, bar, and plenty of seating to work and relax (even thoguh the lounge is on the smaller side). Amenities were limited and nothing made me feel like I was in Las Vegas, but it was a good spot to hang out before a flight and a nice addition to the airport.

I was very impressed with this lounge a few months ago. Stopped in for 45m before a 10am flight and was able to grab a bloody to help ease the pain from the night before as well as get some good eats. The best part was getting right in while the Centurion lounge had a line 20ppl deep when I walked by. Now we just need them to open one in ORD!
