On our way to Rome, we landed from Tampa International Airport (TPA) and had some time at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) before our Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt Airport (FRA). We stopped by the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge before the flight. We were there four hours early and only allowed in because we were connecting. Otherwise, we would have had to wait until three hours before the flight.
You need to take an escalator or elevator to reach the lounge.
Anthony’s Take: The Maple Leaf Lounge accessible for international travelers was a nice space to relax before a flight. When we arrived, it was quite empty. The lounge got crowded as it got closer to the departure time of the bank of evening flights headed to Europe. The food and beverage selection was better than what you will find in most lounges in the United States (like the United Clubs℠). We spent a long time here, but it went quickly thanks to the time we spent eating and working before the flight.

Seating & Decor
The design of the lounge is pretty minimalist. It has lots of seating separated into several rooms. We had no problem getting a seat and even when we left there were still multiple options.
There were many tables near the buffet.
Seats were arranged in all sorts of configurations.
These chairs were pretty comfortable.
Smaller rooms offered more privacy.
A quiet area was in the back.
This looked over the terminal.
Seating stretched all the way to the front of the lounge near the entrance.
Clocks displayed several times around the world.
I liked the greenery at the reception desk.
Amenities
This lounge offers free Wi-Fi, restrooms, magazines, showers, a VIP room, a children’s area, phone charger, and the food and beverages mentioned above. I did not take a photo of the children’s area as it was crawling with children and stuff thrown everywhere.
The showers were occupied, so I did not get a shot inside.
A phone charger was near the entrance.
The VIP room was not in use.
Overall Impression:
This lounge was good for passing some time before our flight. The food and drinks were quite tasty and there is lots of seating. I’d be happy to return in the future.
