LOT Polish has been renovating the Polonez Lounge (Business Class lounge) in the Schengen area of Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) for the past year. The lounge located near Gates 25 and 26 is now open and provides passenger with a much improved space to relax and work along with added amenities.

The Polonez Lounge measures around 9,250 square feet. During the renovation, 1,650 square feet of space was added. This provides an additional 64 seats, a self-service bar, and a conference room.

The contemporary design takes on the carrier’s signature color scheme of navy blue, copper, and amber. It’s similar to the visual identity that you will find in the recently opened lounge at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) (more here).

Additional amenities include a buffet and a spa, known as Relax Spot by Phenomé x LOT. This is not yet open and is expected in May.

Skincare treatments (in partnership with Polish cosmetics company Phenomé) will be available to guests Monday to Friday in the lounge. These products are also available on LOT’s Boeing 787 aircraft. The entire lounge is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi as well as electrical outlets and USB ports in designated areas. The lounge is open daily from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Izabela Leszczyńska, Director of Product Development and Customer Experience at LOT Polish Airlines, said:

We aimed to create a space that not only meets the highest standards of comfort but also redefines the travel experience for passengers who value modernity, exclusivity and a premium atmosphere. The LOT Business Lounge Polonez now combines elegance with functionality – offering more space, innovative solutions and carefully selected amenities that enable both relaxation and productivity. We wanted every guest to feel special and experience Polish hospitality at the very heart of our connecting hub, Warsaw Chopin Airport. We are delighted to welcome guests to our LOT Business Lounge Polonez.”

Anthony’s Take: It’s great to see LOT Polish Airlines continuing to invest in its ground experience. The Chicago lounge looks nice and I hope to check it out soon. This renovation adds a lot for eligible guests traveling from or connecting in Warsaw.
