KLM World Business Class passengers will begin receiving new amenity kits filled with items from Dutch brand Marie-Stella-Maris beginning on August 1st. These products will also be found in KLM’s lounges around the world.
The design of the new comfort kits is the result of a collaboration between KLM and Envisions design agency in Eindhoven. It was founded by a collective of young graduates from Design Academy Eindhoven. Inside, passengers will find Marie-Stella-Maris products that are made in the Netherlands. They consist of a minimum of 96% natural ingredients, including shea butter, almond oil, and hazelnut oil. In addition, the brand donates 2.5% of its sales to sustainable water projects.
Marleen van de Pol, VP of Customer Experience at KLM said:
KLM aims to make every journey meaningful and believes in putting quality before quantity. After all, travel is not about ticking destinations off a list but about unique encounters and personal experiences.”
I like the design of these amenity kits and the designers drew inspiration for the four new Envisions comfort bags from different moments of the day. It’s cool that these fold out into a reusable bag.
Anthony’s Take: I am an amenity kit collector and have a closet full of them. I like the design of these and that they convert to bags.
