JetBlue announced today that it is adding a ton of new food, beverage, and entertainment options across its flights this spring. These include additions to JetBlue’s new EvenMore® class of service as well as passengers traveling in Mint and across its main cabin.
New Premium Snack
Tiny Tate’s Chocolate Chip Cookies have been added as a new snack option in JetBlue’s EvenMore® product. EvenMore® launched on January 28th and offers extra legroom seats, dedicated overhead bin space, complimentary alcoholic beverages, and this new snack.
New Beverage Choices
JetBlue will introduce Montauk Brewing Company’s classic golden ale, named The Surf Beer, onboard all flights. Additionally, blackberrybubly® will replace the current limebubly® sparkling water (this is complimentary for all passengers).
Refreshed Wine Selection in Mint
Passengers flying in JetBlue’s Mint (Business Class) will soon see some new wines rotated into the selections. These include:
- JJ Vincent Crémant de Bourgogne: a dry, sparkling wine from Burgundy offering an elegant, crisp and refreshing finish.
- Burgans Albariño: a light white wine that is an ideal alternative to pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc.
- Domaine Roulot Bourgogne Blanc: a rich and savory white wine that pairs with ease during meal service.
- Cousins Napa Cabernet Blend: a full bodied red wine, offering a classic and balanced take on cabernet.
- Dama Brut Nature Cava: a champagne-style wine from Spain that is bubbly and bright
- Buona Notte Mortadella Skin Contact: a floral, refreshing and medium style of orange wine.
Updated Mint Menus
Out of the Caribbean, JetBlue passengers will see new menus in Mint. These include:
- Romaine cucumber salad with herbs, pumpkin seeds and white balsamic vinaigrette
- Grilled mahi mahi with plantain mash, grilled pineapple and roasted pumpkin sauce
- Jerked Chicken with pad Thai rice noodles, cashews and lime
- Tricolor lentil ragout with curried squash and parsley
- Marbled sweet potato cake in a coconut rum cream sauce
Bar Pasquale’s Mediterranean-infused dishes will continue to be offered on domestic and transatlantic flights with new selections like:
- Coconut yogurt with maple and pecan ginger granola
- Ricotta Pancakes with lemon marmalata and maple
- Frittata with smoked salmon, herb salad and parmigiano
Audible and Video Content
JetBlue launched a new collaboration with Audible on February 1st. Premium audiobooks, podcasts, and Audible Originals are available to be streamed.
Entertainment content will be focused on themes like Black History Month, Just Plane Romantic (for Valentine’s Day), and Women’s History Month. Movies include The Color Purple, Hidden Figures, Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, The Proposal, Dirty Dancing, The Idea of You, I Am: Celine Dion, Selena, and A League of Their Own.
Anthony’s Take: JetBlue is adding some nice amenities this spring. I love Tate’s cookies and the wine list sounds great. As the airline continues to evolve, it’s nice to see these touches that made it stand out in the past continue with snacks and entertainment being things that people consider when booking JetBlue.
