JetBlue just introduced Wicked Blue. The newly painted Airbus A320 celebrates more than 20 years of service at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). The special livery pays tribute to the airline’s deep roots in the city, drawing inspiration from New England culture and iconic Boston landmarks. The aircraft’s name, Wicked Blue, is a nods to the local slang meaning “extremely” (and not the movie starring Ariana Grande).

The livery’s design features a postcard-style tail stamp marking the date of JetBlue’s first-ever revenue flight from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Stretching across its blue fuselage is a bold “BOSTON” postcard mural with each letter filled with illustrations representing the city’s unique character. Among the highlights are the MBTA transportation system, the Paul Revere statue, the Zakim Bridge, a classic Boston lobster, the golden-domed Massachusetts State House, and Dorchester’s Rainbow Swash mural.
JetBlue began service at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in 2004 and has grown to become the city’s largest leisure carrier. It offers more mainline seats and departures than any other airline. Travelers have the most JetBlue flights to California, Florida, and the Caribbean, along with the widest range of transatlantic destinations in the JetBlue network. In 2026, JetBlue will add new nonstop service from to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). This month, the airline is also launching new domestic routes to Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) and Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB).
