JetBlue has unveiled plans to expand its transatlantic network with new daily summer seasonal service from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to both Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP).
Service to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) is scheduled to launch on April 16th and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) flights will begin on May 11th. Tickets for both routes will go on sale on November 20th.
With these additions, JetBlue brings its signature service and competitive fares to two of Europe’s most celebrated destinations. Barcelona and Milan offer cultural experiences, amazing food, and access to some of the continent’s hottest tourist spots. Barcelona charms visitors with its architecture, art, and Mediterranean atmosphere, while Milan serves as Italy’s global hub for fashion, design, and access to Lake Como and the Alps. (Just make sure you’re not robbed like me. I kid as it is very safe and I was just unlucky.)

The new routes enhance JetBlue’s presence at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). With this announcement, the airline will reach 77 nonstop destinations and serve nine European airports during the summer season. This follows the recent expansion of service from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) and Edinburgh Airport (EDI).
The move underscores JetBlue’s commitment to offering travelers in New England more opportunities to explore Europe. The added routes will complement existing year-round service to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), London Heathrow Airport (LHR), and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), along with seasonal service to Dublin Airport (DUB), Edinburgh Airport (EDI), London Gatwick Airport (LGW), and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD).
Flights to both Barcelona and Milan will be operated using JetBlue’s A321 aircraft. These aircraft are outfitted with the Mint (Business Class) cabin. It features lie-flat private suites and menus developed in partnership with Delicious Hospitality Group (known for its New York restaurants Charlie Bird and Pasquale Jones).
JetBlue remains known for elevating the Economy Class travel experience. Core customers can expect a thoughtfully curated offering that includes complimentary branded snacks, beverages, and a high-quality meal crafted by JetBlue’s culinary partner Dig Inn.
Both Mint and Core passengers will enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the journey, along with extensive inflight entertainment available on seatback screens. Travelers can stream, browse, and enjoy a multi-screen setup in the air to match the flexibility they experience at home.
Joanna Geraghty, Chief Executive Officer at JetBlue, said:
As we expand our New England footprint with new service from Boston to Barcelona and Milan, we’re bringing more travelers the elevated service that has redefined transatlantic air travel, including our award-winning Mint premium experience. Customers flying to Europe with JetBlue enjoy the kind of thoughtful design, privacy, and hospitality they simply won’t find with legacy carriers, and we’re proud to continue delivering incredible value and style on both sides of the Atlantic.”
