JetBlue has been struggling to find its footing. This past year saw its attempt to acquire Spirit Airlines fail (more here) and its Northeast Alliance with American Airlines dissolve (more here). These had a huge impact on an already struggling airline. JetBlue is looking to reinvigorate, if not reinvent itself, and this starts with some small changes that can make a big impact on its perception and bottom line. One of these was announced today. JetBlue will be offering its Mint (Business Class) service on Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to/from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) for winter ski season.

In February, JetBlue will offer Mint service on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. JetBlue has flown this route seasonally in the past and it’s not new for 2025, but the addition of its premium cabin shows that JetBlue is looking to target the hottest segment in travel: leisure flyers with big budgets for the front of the plane. These flights will run between February 13th and March 30th.

Dave Jehn, Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, said:

With the introduction of Mint and the increased frequency of flights on weekends, we are committed to offering our customers premium travel options, making their journey to Bozeman and back an exceptional experience.”

Anthony’s Take: It’s interesting to see JetBlue test out Mint in other markets. It started with select flights to the Caribbean and transcontinental routes. But, it has grown to include Europe and now a ski destination. Let’s see what route gets Mint next.
