IHG Hotels & Resorts is returning for its seventh year as the official hotel partner of the US Open Tennis Championships. This year it’s bringing tennis fans access and immersive experiences that extend beyond the courts. From courtside luxury to a new cocktail and a contest where a winner can have breakfast in bed on the baseline, it’s making this year’s tournament even more exciting.
The Watermelon Slice cocktail will debut at this year’s US Open. It combines Moët & Chandon, watermelon juice, elderflower liqueur, and lime, served with a signature watermelon wedge in a bespoke tennis-themed collectible cup. It will be available at the IHG Racquet Bar onsite and select IHG properties in New York City.
In a first-of-its-kind contest, IHG One Rewards members can enter to win the “Bed on the Baseline” experience. This will grant the winner and a guest breakfast in bed set up right on the court of Louis Armstrong Stadium.
The prize includes:
- Private black car transfer to the stadium
- A dedicated concierge escort to a courtside bed outfitted with IHG robes and slippers
- A gourmet breakfast delivered via “room service”
- Watermelon Slice cocktails to enjoy while watching match highlights on the stadium’s big screen
- Custom IHG swag, curated photo opportunities, and surprise touches
Entries for the “Bed on the Baseline” package are open now through September 7th at 11:59 PM EST at IHG One Rewards Access. Registration is free for non-members. The experience will take place on Monday, September 15th.
Throughout the tournament, IHG is enhancing the fan experience with:
- Member-only perks and redemption packages
- Custom swag giveaways and social scavenger hunts
- Immersive activations and pop-up experiences
- Refreshing beverages and light bites at the IHG Racquet Bar
IHG One Rewards members can also turn their points into VIP experiences with IHG’s sports partners year-round through IHG One Rewards Access. The 2025 US Open Tennis Championships take place August 18th to September 7th at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
Anthony’s Take: We have been to the US Open many times. Back in the day, I won several Starwood Preferred Guest and Marriott Bonvoy Moments™ when they were the sponsors of the tennis tournament. It’s good to see IHG still offering fans uniques experiences.
