Hyatt just announced that World of Hyatt® members can now book 15 luxury safari escapes across East Africa through Asilia Africa. These are available on Hyatt’s booking channels via Mr & Mrs Smith. The new offering opens access to some of the region’s most iconic landscapes while supporting safari camps deeply committed to community-led conservation efforts in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Through this expansion, World of Hyatt® members can explore a diverse portfolio of immersive safari experiences. Among the featured destinations is Dunia Camp in Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park, which is the first safari camp in East Africa operated entirely by women. Celebrating its tenth year, Dunia Camp sits between open plains and granite kopjes and is renowned for year-round wildlife viewing, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

In southern Tanzania, Jabali Ridge offers an elevated safari experience in Ruaha National Park. Its elegant accommodations are built around ancient boulders and offer expansive views over a remote wilderness filled with lions, leopards, and elephants. Namiri Plains, also in the Serengeti, delivers an exceptional big-cat safari experience in the golden grasslands of the eastern region.
The Highlands in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area blends contemporary architecture with volcanic wilderness that’s set on the slopes of Olmoti Volcano. Guests can trek to the crater rim and take in sweeping views of the Ngorongoro Crater (one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural landmarks). For a more intimate experience, Usangu Expedition Camp in Ruaha National Park offers just six tents tucked beneath miombo woodland.
In Kenya, Ol Pejeta Bush Camp provides front-row access to wildlife along the Ewaso Ngiro River within the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Asilia Africa operates across some of the continent’s most ecologically sensitive environments and is recognized as a leader in responsible tourism. It became the first African travel company to earn B Corp certification in 2012, which reflects its long-standing commitment to social and environmental responsibility through independent assessment and ongoing accountability.
World of Hyatt members can earn and redeem points on eligible stays at participating Asilia camps when booked through Hyatt. Earned points can be redeemed for future travel experiences, including additional safari adventures, community visits, and dining under star-filled African skies.

Each safari experience is designed to deliver comfort, connection, and adventure from arrival to departure. Members can also curate multi-destination journeys by combining several camps across East Africa. Asilia’s dedicated travel coordinators support guests throughout the planning process while assisting with logistics and transfers between destinations. Once booked, travelers are contacted within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) to finalize details and ensure a seamless experience.
The cash rates and redemption options are not cheap. Expect to pay between $1,500 to $2,000 per night when spending cash or upwards of 200,000 World of Hyatt® points on redemptions. Because these are Mr &. Mrs Smith properties, the redemption rates are dynamic.
Marion Barrère, Strategic Development Director at Mr & Mrs Smith, said:
At Mr & Mrs Smith, we curate stays that tell a story – and Asilia’s story is one of purpose, beauty and connection. Asilia is a certified B Corporation, just like us, and that shared commitment to people and planet is something we value deeply. At Asilia, sustainability efforts are woven into the very fabric of their business—it’s at the heart of everything they do, from community partnerships to conservation projects that support Africa’s wild places thrive. This collaboration has significantly expanded our African collection, giving Mr & Mrs Smith and World of Hyatt members access to some of the most extraordinary safari experiences across Kenya, Tanzania – and now Uganda, a new destination for us and one we’re thrilled to introduce.”
Anthony’s Take: Hotel loyalty programs are pushing for much more than hotel stays. Yesterday, I wrote about Hilton’s new high-end cruise partner and now Hyatt is partnering for luxury safaris.
