World of Hyatt® added perks known as Milestone Rewards for members starting at 20 nights stayed each year last year. These include choices like Guest of Honor, Suite Upgrade Awards, free nights, and 2K Next Stay (which lets a member earn an additional 2,000 points on their next stay). This was only valid for a few brands last year, but Hyatt just added some more to the list for 2025.
2K Next Stay offers 2,000 bonus points on a member’s next stay at a Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Caption by Hyatt, Me and All Hotels, Hyatt Studios, or UrCove hotel. Me and All Hotels and Hyatt Studios are new this year.
In June, Hyatt announced that it was acquiring the European, limited-service brand, Me and All Hotels. With this deal, Me and All Hotels became a standalone brand within Hyatt’s portfolio and another one to try for its Brand Explorer promo (where you can earn a free night for every five brands tried). The new brand has quintupled in rooms between 2017 and the end of 2023.
Hyatt Studios marked the company’s entry into upper-midscale lodging in the Americas (competitors like Comfort Inn, Hampton by Hilton, and Holiday Inn fall within this category). Hyatt Studios debuted in Mobile, AL. Over 100 letters of interest to build Hyatt Studios hotels were signed in April 2023.
Anthony’s Take: It makes sense that these brands were added to the limited-service ones where the award was already valid. I wish it worked for the entire portfolio, but I get that Hyatt is encouraging nights at certain brands.
