Hilton announced today that it has added a new Caribbean island to its list of countries. Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is Hilton’s first property on the island of Bonaire. The island nation is neighbors with Aruba and Curacao and a territory of the Netherlands. The hotel is open as of today.

Hilton currently operates 45 hotels in the Caribbean and has a whopping 35 more in various stages of development. This is all part of Hilton’s broader expansion strategy across the Caribbean and Latin America where it currently has a portfolio of more than 270 hotels across 30 countries and territories.

Jenna Hackett, Senior Vice President and Global Leader at Hilton Lifestyle Brands, said:

With its distinct character, Delfins Beach Resort Bonaire is a natural fit for Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Inspired by Bonaire’s pristine nature and its rich cultural identity, Delfins Beach Resort provides guests with spiritedly local cuisine and proximity to world-class diving that allow them to authentically experience the best of the island.”
