San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will also see one additional flight daily on an Airbus A330-200 the same dates listed above. The Airbus A330-200 has 18 First Class, 68 Economy Comfort, and 192 Economy Class seats. Guests will find 16 First Class, 44 Extra Comfort, and 129 Economy Class seats on the Airbus A321neo.
Christmas and New Year’s Travel
For these December and January holidays, Hawaiian will add a fourth daily flight to/from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on the Airbus A330-200. These flights will run December 19th to 21st, 26th to 28th, and January 2nd to 6th. Both Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) will see flights operated with the Airbus A321neo on December 15th to January 7th (with the exception of flights to SEA and SFO not running on December 24th and HNL not running December 25th).
Brent Overbeek, Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer at Hawaiian Airlines, said:
We’re already seeing compelling demand for end-of-year travel and our extra flights will make it even more convenient for our guests to experience our Hawaiian hospitality during the holiday season. Additionally, we decided to once again offer a fourth Honolulu-Los Angeles, peak-day flight that was popular with our guests during our summer seasonal service.”
Anthony’s Take: Carriers are reporting slower days ahead and updating capacity to reflect demand. It seems like Hawaiian is seeing strong bookings for the holidays and also acting accordingly.
