Korean Air released a video on social media today to celebrate Seollal (Lunar New Year) and it’s too beautiful to eat. The video shows someone preparing an aircraft, uniforms, and clouds for a bowl of Tteokguk or sliced rice cake soup.
The colors and artistry that went into making this would be too much for me to actually consume it. The post calls it “First Class Tteokguk” and says it’s served right at your table, but I can’t imagine Korean Air actually creating this for every First Class passenger.
Anthony’s Take: This is gorgeous and the level of skill is so impressive. I don’t think I’d be able to eat this dish given how incredible it looks.
