Last week, I wrote about United’s latest attack on American Airlines. United’s CEO has made it clear that he wants to be the only game in town at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). This summer, United is planning to operate 750 daily flights. This is roughly 200 more than American has scheduled, but which routes will see increased frequency? As a Chicago resident for much of the year (especially in the beautiful summers that the Windy City offers), I wanted to know what additional flights would be offered.

United’s PR team was nice enough to provide me with all of the additions. Here is the full list:

Anthony’s Take: This is a massive list and I am excited for the frequency increases when I’m back in Chicago this summer. United is really sticking it to American and I don’t see how the airline can even attempt to match these bumps at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). I just wonder how this schedule is going to work and how long we’ll be taxiing, waiting for gates, etc. this summer.
