Flair Airlines Adds 13 Routes This Winter

Flair Airlines is a Canadian low-cost carrier based in Edmonton, Alberta. It operates a fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft with a route network that serves Canada and several US destinations, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Flair Routes

This winter, the carrier is adding 13 new, winter routes to help Canadians find some warmer weather.

Hyatt Zilara Cancun

Cancun

These new flights include service between Cancun International Airport (CUN) and:

  • Edmonton International Airport (YEG) (Daily; starts on October 29th)
  • Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) (Daily; starts on October 30th)
  • Vancouver International Airport (YVR) (Daily; starts on October 29th)
  • Windsor International Airport (YQG) (1x weekly; starts on December 5th)
  • Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG) (2x weekly; starts on November 30th)

Las Vegas

Las Vegas

These new and increased flights include service between Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and:

  • Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) (4x weekly – increased from 2x weekly; starts on October 30th)
  • Victoria International Airport (YYJ) (2x weekly; starts on February 16th)
  • Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG) (2x weekly; starts on February 17th)

Orlando

These new flights include service between Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and:

  • London International Airport (YXU) (2x weekly; starts on November 29th)
  • Saint John Airport (YSJ) (1x weekly; starts on January 23rd)
  • Windsor International Airport (YQG) (2x weekly; starts on January 21st)
  • Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (YWG) (2x weekly; starts on January 22nd)

Anthony’s Take: Direct service from smaller Canadian airports will make it easier for travelers to get from home into the sunshine in the US and Mexico. Flair doesn’t have the best reputation in Canada, but with cheap flights they’ll fill planes when the temperatures drop this winter.

These aren’t the only new routes Flair is flying this winter. For example, while Flair announced Las Vegas service from Ottawa last year, those flights never launched, and they actually start this October. Ottawa isn’t on your map.
