EVA Air is introducing complimentary Wi-Fi for Infinity MileageLands members across all cabin classes this July. To promote this new benefit, EVA Air is offering all passengers free Wi-Fi this summer from July 1st to September 30th on Wi-Fi equipped aircraft.
The airline offers Wi-Fi on its Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787, and Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Following this summer’s promotion, complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi will be available for Business Class passengers and Infinity MileageLands members. Passengers flying on Airbus A321-200 aircraft will have access to a wireless in-flight entertainment system. Content can be viewed on their phones, tablets, or laptops. This will roll out in early 2026. We’ve seen this strategy before with Delta offering members of the SkyMiles® program free Wi-Fi and United offering discounts to members of MileagePlus.
Starting on October 1st, free Wi-Fi will be available to all Business Class passengers, Infinity MileageLands members in Premium Economy, and Infinity MileageLands Diamond and Gold members in Economy Class. Infinity MileageLands general and Silver members in Economy Class will receive unlimited free texting.
Like other airlines the Wi-Fi does not support video streaming, voice calls, VPN connections, or video conferencing. New members who sign up for MileageLands will receive 1,000 bonus miles and gain access to complimentary Wi-Fi. Passengers will be able to determine what they’re eligible for when they book their tickets.
Anthony’s Take: Free Wi-Fi continues to become an amenity offered by more airlines. It’s something that should be expected and hopefully we’ll see more of as airlines bring on Starlink and upgrade their in-flight systems.
