A JetBlue passenger caused a ruckus on a recent flight after she pushed forward during deplaning and cuts off multiple other passengers in the process. Instead of having some humility, the woman curses, insults, makes xenophobic comments about someone’s accent, and doubles down on her bad behavior.

As she continues to argue with other passengers she drops that she is a lawyer and even says that she will show her “bar card” when they get off of the plane. I hate when people do this while getting off of an aircraft. This woman was entitled, arrogant, and I’m glad that the other passengers stood up to her. I can assure you that I would have said something if I had been on the plane. I have seen this plenty through the years and it always amazes me how people feel that they are more important than others and need to toss etiquette out the window.

Anthony’s Take: While we have no details around where this flight departed from or landed, it’s clear that this “Karen” felt that she was smarter and better than the rest of the aircraft. I’m glad the other passengers stood up for themselves even if it did not seem to sink in at all.

I always stand up quickly and block the way so people can’t pull entitled stunts like this. The exception is if we’re asked to stay seated so that people with tight connections can deplane first.
