EL AL plans to offer 42 weekly flights to the United States starting in October. These will include 27 to New York, six to Florida, six to Los Angeles, and three to Boston weekly. Through the codeshare partnership with Delta Air Lines, passengers will have up to 280 connection options when flying from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) into any of Delta’s hubs.

The full breakdown of flights to/from the United States is as follows:

  • Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) (3x weekly on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays)
  • Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) (1x weekly on Mondays)
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) (6x weekly; Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays)
  • Miami International Airport (MIA) (5x weekly; Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays)
  • Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) (11x weekly; 2x Sundays, 2x Mondays, 2x Tuesdays, 2x Wednesdays, 2x Thursdays, and 1x Fridays)
  • New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) (16x weekly; 3x Sundays, 3x Mondays, 2x Tuesdays, 3x Wednesdays, 3x Thursdays, and 2x Fridays)

United Airlines will begin flying from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) on July 22nd and will offer 2x daily flights starting on July 23rd. Delta Air Lines will resume its nonstop flights between Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) and New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) on September 2nd.

Anthony’s Take: It’s good to see some normalcy returning to flight schedules. Hopefully, it sticks and EL AL is able to maintain its schedule along with Delta and United (and American at some point).
