DoubleTree by Hilton is celebrating the opening of the brand’s 700th property. It currently operates in 60 countries and territories, which is 10x growth from the number in 2008. Recently, it has opened 40 new hotels around the world and the brand now stretches to places like Nice, Laos, and the Azores. The momentum will continue into the future with a pipeline of more than 240 hotels in development and nine upcoming first-in-country and territory debuts. In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, DoubleTree has more than 150 operating hotels. The Asia Pacific region holds 115 properties and significant expansion is planned for China.
