Delta SkyMiles® Award Flash Sale: Deals to Mexico and the Caribbean

Delta Air Lines is offering SkyMiles® members the opportunity to redeem less miles for trips to Mexico and the Caribbean. Flights must be booked by September 12th. This flash sale is for Basic Economy and Main Cabin tickets only.

Award charts were eliminated a few years back and the number of miles needed for redemption with Delta SkyMiles® can vary wildly. This sale offers roundtrip tickets for 17,000 to 23,000 miles roundtrip. Destinations include:

• Barbados’ Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI)
• Mazatlán International Airport (MZT)
• Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS)
• Turks and Caicos’ Providenciales International Airport (PLS)
• Puerto Plata’s Gregorio Luperón International Airport (POP)

• Award Travel : Award Travel is subject to government-imposed taxes and fees and carrier-imposed charges, which are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time the ticket is booked. Taxes/fees/carrier-imposed charges depend upon the itinerary, and will be up to $325 for Main Cabin travel to the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. Award Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or in all markets.
• Basic Economy: The prices shown are as per passenger. Tickets are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated. Some of the prices listed may be Basic Economy fares; these fares do not include a seat assignment until after check-in, are nonrefundable, and have additional restrictions. • Cancellations/Refunds/Changes: Tickets are nonrefundable except in accordance with Delta’s cancellation policy. Fees may apply for downgrades/reissues and itinerary changes. For Award tickets, changes to origin, destination, routing, date and time are permitted except for Basic Economy tickets, and the mileage difference (and any applicable taxes) for the new Award ticket will apply. Anthony’s Take: These flights might be in Economy, but they represent some great deals for flights that aren’t too long. If you’re planning any warm weather trips, act now.
