Delta is running a 50% off sale on SkyMiles® redemptions and cash purchases for premium drinks in its Sky Clubs® at Miami International Airport (MIA) and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). This is not widely advertised, but runs through May 31st.
Thrifty Traveler reported this morning that Delta is offering 50% off the cost of premium drinks in these Sky Clubs®. With this sale, drinks are as low as $3.75 or 250 miles.
One of the more exciting redemption opportunities comes in the form of full bottles of Champagne. Veuve Brut Rosé is a steal at 4,000 Sky Miles®. I’ve purchased it before for the regular cost of 8,000 miles and found that to be a good deal. I miss the Dom Perignon that Delta used to offer. The full beverage menu can be found here.
Anthony’s Take: This is a great deal and one that I hope hits other locations in the future. It’s tough to get a good deal in flight redemptions, but this is a great use of miles for some premium cocktails and wine before the show.

I’m wondering why Delta is doing this. After doing so much to drive off people from their lounges are they now trying to attract people back to some of those lounges?
I’ll take it regardless of reason 🙂
