Last week, I wrote about Delta planning to make a “big announcement” today (more here). After its continued operational meltdown, the carrier announced today that it’s postponing this announcement until “soon” (whenever that may be).
There are no further clues as to what this could be other than what was released initially that it’s to “keep the summer vibes going” and that “summer takes flight.” Will this be a new flight, partnership, on-board beverages, who knows?
Anthony’s Take: Anyone have any ideas as to what Delta is launching on “soon”? I reached out to Delta’s corporate communications team, but they’re dealing with lots of other issues at the moment.

Is a new CEO too much to hope for?
If this big announcement is negative for the customer and positive for Delta, then this is not a good time and it may be unannounced indefinitely.
