The Delta One® Lounge at Boston International Airport (BOS) was first revealed back in February with a “late 2024” opening date. It was officially announced today that the lounge will open on Wednesday, December 11th. The design pays homage to Boston’s maritime heritage including a custom-designed sail ceiling.
The Delta One® Lounge in Boston will be the smallest one to date at only 6,700 square feet with seating for 120 guests. This will be attached to the Delta Sky Club® already in Terminal E. This means that this lounge is less than one-sixth of the size of the New York location which measures around 40,000 square feet and a little more than half the size of the one in Los Angeles.
The Delta One® Lounges have changed the game for what a premium lounge experience can be like in the United States. I loved my visit to the location at New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) this summer and cannot wait to get back. Next year will see the opening of Delta One® Lounges in Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Exact opening dates have not yet been released.

While this lounge will be smaller than the locations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK), it promises an elevated dining experience like the others with seafood dishes including a warm Maine lobster roll, octopus carpaccio, and cod Milanese taking center stage in Boston. Additionally, a chef’s daily local fish selection will be offered.
Access
Access to this lounge is exclusive and will be similar to other locations. Delta is trying to avoid the crowding issues at many Sky Clubs®. The following passengers have access to the Delta One® Lounge before departure:
- Delta One® passengers (these passengers also have exclusive access upon arrival)
- Delta 360 members departing or arriving on a same day Delta First Class ticket
- Air France La Premiere and Business Class
- KLM Business Class
- Korean Air First Class and Prestige Class
- LATAM Premium Business Class
- Virgin Atlantic Upper Class
Like United’s Polaris Lounges, Delta One® Lounges are not accessible by holding a credit card or membership. You need to be flying in one of the premium cabins listed above. Access does not matter if you paid cash, used miles, or upgraded.
Anthony’s Take: Delta set out to have this location open by late 2024 and it looks like it’s going to meet that goal with an opening slated for this Wednesday, December 11th.

I have had access to the Delta One lounge upon arrival at JFK from CDG on AF in LP while connecting onto a Delta flight to RDU.
