Delta Air Lines is looking to boost its winter ski schedule with domestic seat capacity increasing by nearly 10% over 2023. Added service from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)

From Delta’s largest hub, passengers will have access to a second daily flight to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) as well as flights to/from:

Flights to/from Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) have moved from seasonal to year-round flights.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

Delta’s ski schedule out of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) this winter will see a 25% increase in seat capacity. Daily flights will be offered to/from Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) and Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE). Plus, Delta is bringing back daily to/from:

Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP)

This season, Delta resumes service to Steamboat Springs’ Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) and Jackson Hole Airport (JAC). These are being bumped up to daily from the 1x weekly flights offered in 2023. Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) will also be served year round.

Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)

Delta’s daily flights to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), Jackson Hole Airport (JAC), and Sun Valley’s Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) will return this winter to get skiers from Delta’s western hub onto the slopes.

Joe Esposito, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, said:

Delta is creating essential connections from our growing hub and state-of-the-art facilities in Los Angeles and across the U.S. to bring premier ski resorts within easy reach this winter. With our latest winter schedule, customers have more choices than ever, with up to 190 weekly flights to places our customers want to fly to most, paired with the premium services and amenities our customers always enjoy.”

Anthony’s Take: I’m not a skier, but Delta is definitely making it easy for those who are to get out and enjoy the fresh powder.
