Delta Air Lines announced today that it will open two new lounges this week (on June 26th) at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) including a Sky Club® and a Delta One® Lounge. The two lounges together span over 24,000 square feet and offer travelers regional dishes and cocktails, a huge outdoor terrace, and an eco-friendly design.

Located across from Gate A11, the two-story space includes the exclusive Delta One® Lounge on the upper level with 149 indoor seats and 72 seats on the terrace overlooking Mount Rainier. One floor down, the Delta Sky Club® offers 183 seats, mountain views, and a Seattle-inspired interior.

The design of both lounges reflects the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty with stone accents, warm wood elements, and a color palette of emerald, navy, and rust. Artwork from global and local artists, including Pam Kueny Taylor’s “Time to Migrate” fills out the space.

The Delta One® Lounge offers an open kitchen and interactive chef experience. Guests can enjoy menu items like Dungeness crab cannelloni, wood-fired teriyaki steelhead, yellowtail crudo, dumplings, and ramen. Desserts include a Rainier cherry sundae, chocolate mousse, and an artisanal cheese plate featuring Seattle’s own Beecher’s Flagship cheese.

Breakfast offerings include Dutch baby pancakes topped with Rainier cherry compote, fresh pastries, and a Dungeness crab Benedict. Coffee is sourced from local roaster, Caffè Umbria, and the bar features Seattle-themed cocktails, premium sake, and a West Coast–focused wine list.

The Delta Sky Club® rotates seasonal Northwest-inspired dishes such as lemon chicken, ribs, and Ivar’s clam chowder. Coconut cream pie and marionberry crumble are available for dessert with coffee by Starbucks to further Delta’s ongoing partnership with the Seattle-based brand. A full bar with beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options is also available.

Beyond its aesthetics, the lounge complex is a sustainability-driven space, with:

  • Smart windows that adjust to sunlight
  • All-electric energy systems
  • Motion-sensing lighting
  • Reusable dinnerware to cut waste

Claude Roussel, VP of Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience at Delta, said:

These sophisticated-yet-comfortable spaces reflect Delta’s commitment to delivering experiences customers can look forward to through every step of their journey. By continuing to invest in key markets and creating bespoke Lounges and Sky Clubs, we are responding to customer demand for the elevated experiences they have come to know, love and expect from Delta at our hubs and beyond. Our goal throughout the design process was to create a space that captures both Seattle’s beautiful aesthetic and soul. From locally sourced food and artwork by Washington-based artists to sustainable design, this space reflects the spirit and values of the Pacific Northwest.”

In addition to the new lounges, Delta is launching two new transatlantic routes in 2026. The daily flights between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and both Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) and Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) using Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. These offer 29 Delta One®, 28 Premium Select, 56 Delta Comfort, and 168 Delta Main seats. These routes start on May 7th and 6th, respectively.

Anthony’s Take: Delta has set the standard for lounges in the United States. The Sky Clubs® are nice, but the Delta One® Lounges blow away all others. I can’t wait to check out the Seattle location.
