Delta Air Lines has revealed its first new uniform collection in nearly a decade known as “Distinctly Delta.” This new line was designed to reflect the airline’s evolution into a modern, premium global carrier while honoring the people who bring its brand to life every day.
Developed in collaboration with Lands’ End and shaped by feedback from over 65,000 uniformed employees, the new collection is more than just a wardrobe update. Every stitch, seam, and shade has been thoughtfully designed to perform under pressure while embodying Delta’s 100-year legacy of innovation, safety, and service.

Distinctly Delta features four coordinated collections tailored for employees across Airport Customer Service, In-Flight, and Technical Operations teams. Engineered for real-world performance, each piece incorporates stretch, breathability, and flexibility to handle the varied climates and demands of global aviation. Whether it’s ramp crews working through heat and rain or flight attendants transitioning between time zones, the uniforms are designed to move with purpose and perform with precision.
Every garment also meets the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification (one of the world’s highest benchmarks for textile safety) that reaffirms Delta’s uncompromising commitment to employee health and environmental responsibility.

The collection reintroduces Delta’s signature colors with a modern, elevated palette inspired by the airline’s iconic branding. The lineup includes Navigator Navy, Boarding Burgundy, and Runway Red, each drawn from the hues of the Delta tailfin and Widget logo.
A vibrant new Powerful Pink shade also joins the collection to continue Delta’s 20-year partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Employees will wear this color each October as a symbol of strength and solidarity.
Distinctly Delta honors the airline’s heritage by reintroducing classic styles from past collections (most notably, the iconic wrap dress, first introduced in the early 2000s). Beloved by employees and customers alike, this timeless silhouette has been reimagined with updated fabrics, fit enhancements, and refined tailoring for today’s modern airline professional.

The Elite Collection, featuring a subtle jacquard pattern woven with Delta’s Widget symbol, distinguishes high-visibility roles such as Red Coats, Sky Club ambassadors, and onboard Pursers.
To complete the new look, Delta has partnered with two lifestyle brands celebrated for craftsmanship and comfort.

Renowned Italian fashion house Missoni will design the collection’s scarves, ties, and pocket squares, adding texture and a refined aesthetic that aligns with Delta’s premium onboard experience and lounge decor. Each accessory reflects Missoni’s signature artistry while complementing Delta’s global brand identity.
Meanwhile, comfort brand Bombas joins as Delta’s official sock partner, outfitting employees with signature black socks accented by Delta branding. Engineered for both above- and below-wing wearers, these additions combine practicality with all-day comfort.

The unveiling of Distinctly Delta marks a milestone in Delta’s centennial year. The celebration is not just of the airline’s history but of the people who define its future. Wear testing for the new uniforms will begin in summer 2026 with a full rollout planned for 2027.
Anthony’s Take: I like the new uniforms and adding Missoni and Bombas accessories is a nice touch. I think the red is particularly striking.

Why the American flag on the sleeves? They are neither law enforcement or federal workers. Seems a bit tacky.
