I love José Andrés. He is an incredible humanitarian and has some of the best restaurants. His meals are consistently delicious (whether that’s a restaurant like The Bazaar in Chicago or the Capital One Landing (review here) or his Las Vegas outposts). Today, Delta Air Lines announced an exclusive partnership with José Andrés (set to debut on November 4th). The collaboration marks a new chapter in Delta’s continued evolution toward restaurant-quality service in the sky and blends chef-driven cuisine with an expertly curated wine program. (I’m so excited to check this out.)
Inspired by José Andrés’ Spanish heritage, the new menu brings bold, comforting flavors and refined presentations to Delta One® and Delta First cabins. Signature dishes include:
- Spanish Tortilla with Pisto Manchego
- Braised Beef Short Rib
- Stuffed Piquillo Peppers
- Spanish-Style Chicken
Developed collaboratively between Chef Andrés’ culinary team and Delta’s in-house chefs, the menu has been fine-tuned to preserve the balance of flavors and textures even in the unique conditions of inflight dining.
Complementing this new culinary partnership is Delta’s 2026 onboard wine program, which features a hand-selected collection from world-class vineyards . Designed to enhance the José Andrés menu, the new list includes:
- Stag’s Leap Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley)
- Marchesi Antinori Cont’Ugo Super Tuscan (Italy)
- VIK “A” Cabernet Sauvignon (Chile)
This curated wine selection reflects Delta’s ongoing commitment to sourcing premium vintages.
Delta’s Master Sommelier, Andrea Robinson, said:
The 2026 Delta wine program highlights wineries that embody what we and our Delta customers hold dear: authentic hospitality, a commitment to sustainable farming and outstanding quality that translates to the glass as the pure deliciousness we all look for in great wine.”
Anthony’s Take: The José Andrés collaboration and new wine program represent Delta’s most ambitious inflight dining initiative to date. Though chef partnerships with airlines are nothing new, this one looks great. The program launches November 4th with phased expansion across Delta One® and Delta First routes throughout 2026.
