Hilton Hotels announced today that it’s bringing the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand to Baja California Sur, Mexico in 2027. The property will feature 132 rooms and suites along with 42 residences.
The rooms will be at least 500 square feet with more than 200 square feet of outdoor space and private plunge pools. Suites will overlook the beach and offer oversized plunge pools, which are great for vacationing families. Residences will range in size from two to four bedrooms and these will also offer outdoor spaces.
In terms of amenities, the resort plans to have a 3,000-square-foot spa with 10 treatment rooms, a fitness center, multiple pools, and five dining options including an all-day restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a pool bar and grill, a beach bar and grill, and a lobby bar. There will also be luxury boutiques and 500 square feet of meeting space.
Conrad Los Cabos will be situated in the OLEADA Pacific Living & Golf. The brand-new 860-acre oceanfront resort community is located on the southern point of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. When it opens, it will be the flagship location for World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els’ first golf course in Mexico. OLEADA is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas.
Dino Michael, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Hilton Luxury Brands, said:
We are pleased to welcome Conrad Los Cabos to our expanding luxury portfolio in Mexico, a key market in Hilton’s growth across the Caribbean and Latin America. With its bold design, curated experiences, and locally inspired culinary offerings, Conrad Los Cabos will provide globally minded travelers with a refreshingly authentic connection to the destination. As Hilton’s third Conrad property in Mexico and the first to introduce Conrad Residences in the region, this remarkable resort reflects our dedication to redefining luxury in one of the world’s most sought-after travel destinations.”
Mexico is Hilton’s largest and fastest-growing market in the Caribbean and Latin America. More than 100 hotels are in operation across the country with 40 more projects in the pipeline. Hilton has nearly 15 new hotel deals in Mexico across multiple brands and segments. In the luxury space, Hilton added more than 10 boutique properties in Mexico this year with its Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) partnership. These are all now available to book through Hilton.
