A passenger scheduled from Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) to Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) is denied boarding and does not accept his fate. It’s unknown if he arrived late or was removed from the aircraft for another reason, but his reaction is wild. He curses at the agents, shoves them, attempts to run down the jet bridge, and eventually (comically) runs away.
An agent is heard shouting to her colleagues to shut the door as the man aggressively pushes towards the door. How he thought he was going to be allowed to fly or that they would not be able to identify him is beyond me. His behavior is juvenile and so stupid. Hopefully, Southwest added him to its no-fly list and reported his actions to the authorities.
Anthony’s Take: Some people are just dumb. You can’t rush onto a jet bridge after being denied boarding and think that you’ll be allowed to fly. Luckily, it does not appear that any of the agents were injured.
