Charleston International Airport (CHS) will be getting its only international flight this March when Air Canada begins flying from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).

The new route will be served daily by an Embraer 175 (operated by Air Canada Express – Jazz) with 12 Business Class and 64 Economy Class seats. This will be the only non-domestic route that the airport offers. British Airways ceased flying to Charleston International Airport (CHS) from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) in summer 2021 due to the pandemic.

Anthony’s Take: With United as a strong Star Alliance partner, there is virtually nowhere in the US that travelers cannot reach either nonstop or with one stop. It will be interesting to see if Air Canada relaunches other routes it has cut in the past like Richmond or Columbia.
