Cayman Jack® is offering travelers with cancelled, delayed, or missed flights at New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) free margaritas on July 17th and 18th. The margarita brand is setting up a pop-up bar at the TWA Hotel to offer Cayman Jack Margaritas, elevated bites, and spa-style services while passengers wait for their flights.
Passengers need to make a free reservation at The Cayman Club. Tickets are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Those interested in attending must RSVP in advance to gain access. Tickets are limited two per person and each ticketholder must be 21 years old or older with valid government ID.
The event runs on July 17th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST and July 18th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. If you can’t make it in person, The Cayman Club will be open virtually for troubled passengers at other airports through September 1st. Visitors can win a free margarita or other travel-themed prizes by going to missedflightlounge.com and sharing their travel woes.
Kevin Brady, Vice President of Marketing at Cayman Jack®, said:
You know how the things you don’t plan end up becoming some of your best memories? That’s the idea behind The Cayman Club. It takes annoying travel hiccups and turns them into excuses to slow down, take a breath, and get into that margarita state of mind – even at the country’s busiest airport. So, wherever you’re headed – no matter what it takes to get there – Cayman Jack Margaritas are part of the experiences you’ll never forget.”
Anthony’s Take: I love pop-ups like this one and the Marshalls Lounge that opened in May. This almost makes me wish The Cayman Club was open when my flight cancelled at JFK last week.
