British Airways is moving terminals at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) on April 25th. The airline will shift from Terminal 5 to Terminal 3 to be near American Airlines.
Departing from Terminal 3 starting April 25: twice-daily flights to #London on @British_Airways! The move will streamline operations for Britain-bound travelers, allowing for smoother connections. Arrivals will continue to land at #TheNewT5.

Both oneworld airlines will be located in Terminal 3 (where American Airlines operates all of its flights). This will help to streamline connections and it looks like the Terraces Lounge that British Airways was operating in Terminal 5 will be closed. Eligible passengers will have access to American’s Flagship® Lounge and Admirals Club® lounges. All flights will continue to arrive at Terminal 5 (where all international flights go for immigration and customs processing).
Neil Chernoff, British Airways Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, said:
Having connected Chicago to Britain for 70 years, our commitment to the city remains stronger than ever. The introduction of our third daily service to London, and our move to Terminal 3 alongside our Atlantic Joint Business partners, underscores our commitment to providing unparalleled service and convenience to our valued customers in Chicago.”
Anthony’s Take: Moving to Terminal 3 makes sense from an operational and passenger standpoint. I wonder what will take the place of its old lounge in Terminal 5 (Chase, American Express, and Capital One take note).

useless. cramped lounge for BA in T5
Wow, this is nice. So now BA is in the same terminal at all hubs (except maybe TBIT at LAX where AA and BA are). PHX T4, DFW & MIA Terminal D, ORD T3, PHL Terminal A, JFK T8.
