Breeze Airways is continuing to grow with the launch of several new routes connecting cities across the Southeast and Northeast as it further strengthens its footprint in underserved and secondary markets. The most exciting part of this announcement might be how much love Florida is getting with this update.

I have flown Breeze a few times this year and overall had pretty decent experiences. Here is one of the most recent reviews.

Breeze Routes

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) will gain:

  • Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP)
  • Portland International Jetport (PWM)

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will see one of the largest expansions in this announcement with these additions.

  • Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM)
  • Charleston International Airport (CHS)
  • Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP)
  • Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)
  • Salisbury Regional Airport (SBY)
  • Tallahassee International Airport (TLH)
  • Tampa International Airport (TPA)
  • Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP)

From Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), Breeze Airways will introduce new nonstop service to:

  • Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM)
  • Tallahassee International Airport (TLH)

Breeze Airways has built its business model around connecting smaller and mid-sized cities with nonstop service that often bypasses traditional hub airports. The newly announced routes reinforce that strategy and creates additional options for travelers seeking convenient, affordable air service without lengthy layovers.

Anthony’s Take: Breeze is really filling in gaps on the East Coast. I’m happy to see an additional option for Tampa to Fort Lauderdale added. Silver Airways used to fly it, but with them gone it has been Spirit and JetBlue.
