Breeze Airways is adding two new, nonstop routes as well as bringing one back to its route map. If you’re not familiar, Breeze Airways is a low-cost airline that offers point-to-point flights to underserved markets across the United States using a fleet of modern Airbus A220 aircraft. I’ve flown Breeze several times and enjoyed the experience, overall (you can read the latest review here). Travel & Leisure named it as one of the five best US airlines for the fourth consecutive year in 2025. Breeze now serves 72 cities in 32 states.
The following routes are being added this fall:
- Charleston’s West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW) to/from Tampa International Airport (TPA) (2x weekly on Mondays and Fridays; returns on October 3rd)
- Norfolk International Airport (ORF) to/from Orlando International Airport (MCO) (2x weekly on Mondays and Fridays; starts on October 3rd)
- Ogdensburg International Airport (OGS) to/from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) (3x weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays; starts on September 2nd)
David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ Founder and CEO, said:
We continue to see rising demand for our service across the country as we redefine what premium experiences in affordable travel look like. These new and returning routes will allow our Guests to conveniently connect to more amazing destinations across our network as we work to bring them even more options in the future.”
The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that this is the 30th nonstop route that Breeze will offer out of Tampa International Airport (TPA). I love that the airline continues to grow in one of my home airports. As it does with most new routes, Breeze is running a sale. One-way tickets cost between $34 and $49 and can be booked at flybreeze.com or through the Breeze Airways app.
Anthony’s Take: I have long been a fan of Breeze Airways and love that its route network continues to expand (especially in Tampa). Now how about some more Chicago love?

Breeze likes to fly from underserved airports with little to no competition for direct flights to popular destinations. Chicago would not fit that profile but you never know what can happen in the future.
