Breeze Airways is adding five new routes and two new cities as part of its latest expansion. These new leisure destinations will help travelers get to the sun or skiing more easily this winter. If you’re not familiar, Breeze Airways is a low-cost airline that offers point-to-point flights to underserved markets across the United States using a fleet of modern Airbus A220 aircraft (and some Embraer E190s). I recently flew Breeze for a second time and loved the experience (you can read the full review here). Travel & Leisure named it as one of the five best US airlines for the second consecutive year in 2023. Breeze serves 62 cities in 31 states.
5 new routes, 2 new destinations:
• 5x weekly Montrose (MTJ) to Orange County (SNA) begins December 21
• 2x weekly Grand Junction (GJT) to Las Vegas (LAS) begins January 9
• 2x weekly PSM-RSW begins October 10
• 2x weekly PSM-MCO begins October 9
• 2x weekly SWF-VRB begins…— Ishrion Aviation (@IshrionA) July 10, 2024
The first two routes will takeoff from a new airport for Breeze Airways. New Hampshire’s Pease International Airport (PSM) will see 2x weekly service to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) (on Thursdays and Sundays) as well as 2x weekly flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO) (on Wednesdays and Saturdays). These begin on October 10th and 9th, respectively. Allegiant is the only airline currently flying to/from Pease International Airport (PSM), so this is big news for locals.
Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) in western Colorado is a new city being added to Breeze’s route map. Flights to Orange County’s John Wayne Airport (SNA) will run 5x weekly beginning on December 21st for ski season (it will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays). A second ski route will launch on January 9th when Breeze connects Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) and Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and run 2x weekly (on Thursdays and Sundays).
The final new route connects New York Stewart International Airport (SWF) with Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB) in Florida. This 2x weekly service will launch on November 21st (on Thursdays and Sundays).
Breeze CEO, David Neeleman, said:
It’s exciting to add two more cities to our national network, and more nonstop routes to our Florida and West Coast destinations, combined with an affordable, premium leisure experience.”
Anthony’s Take: Breeze continues its expansion with several new routes and cities this winter. The carrier is finding its footing and ways to carve out a profitable route network.

Grand Junction as a “ski route” is quite a stretch. Grand Junction is in a desert and 2+ hour drive in good weather from Aspen, which I think is the closest place to ski.
