Breeze Airways is adding three new routes as part of its latest expansion. If you’re not familiar, Breeze Airways is a low-cost airline that offers point-to-point flights to underserved markets across the United States using a fleet of modern Airbus A220 aircraft (and some Embraer E190s). I recently flew Breeze for a second time and loved the experience (you can read the full review here). Travel & Leisure named it as one of the five best US airlines for the second consecutive year in 2023. Breeze serves 60 cities in 31 states.
NEW: Breeze Airways will launch 3 new routes to Florida:
• Burlington (BTV) to Fort Myers (RSW)
• Islip (ISP) to Fort Myers (RSW)

New routes include the following:
- Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) to/from Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport (BTV)
- Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) to/from Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP)
- Tampa International Airport (TPA) to/from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport (AVP)
All of these flights will be flown with Breeze Airways’ Airbus A220 aircraft and run 2x weekly beginning in October. These new flights will bring Breeze’s destinations from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) to 21 and from Tampa International Airport (TPA) to 27 cities served.
Breeze Airways’ President, Tom Doxey, said:

Anthony’s Take: I love that Breeze continues to expand its route network and that Tampa is getting some love here. As I’ve said before, I’ll fly Breeze when its schedule works for me and have had generally good experiences, overall.
