Earlier today, I wrote about an argument between four adults quickly turned violent yesterday at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). Two women and two men began arguing. This quickly led to three people being shot and one stabbed on Christmas Day at the airport. In the midst of this incident, an armed man arrived at the airport without a shirt or shoes. He thought there was an active shooter situation.

The man, identified as Cole Nenon, arrived at the airport carrying a handgun and another weapon. He was wrestled to the ground by police and taken into custody. The holidays bring out some interesting people. This man might have thought he was going to assist with an active shooter situation, but ended up in handcuffs himself.
The Phoenix Police Department released a statement about the man that reads:
He was told by a relative at the airport a shooting occurred earlier in the evening. The man, later identified as 21-year-old Cole Nenon, handed his firearms to other individuals at the airport before he approached an officer who was posted just outside the shooting scene. Nenon appeared irate and began yelling at the officer as he approached him. The officer gave Nenon commands to stop but he did not. The officer was able to take the man to the ground and placed him under arrest.”
Luckily, there was no struggle and the Nenon handed over his weapons before submitting to the officers.
Anthony’s Take: What an odd day at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). Between the family feud that left a woman in critical condition and this wannabe vigilante who came to the airport armed, it was quite the scene in the capital of The Grand Canyon State.
