My husband is a tennis fanatic (he was a Division One player in college and still plays several times a week). We’ve attended the US Open countless times and made it to Roland Garros, the Australian Open, the Rotterdam Open, the Laver Cup, the Miami Open, and other tournaments around the world. The US Open was the home tournament for us for many years living in the NYC/NJ area. American Express always offered cardholders perks, but these seem to be getting better each year.
Again this year, American Express cardholders (attending the US Open) get some nice benefits from August 19th through September 8th onsite.

Centurion® Lounge
Holders of The Platinum Card® from American Express and the Centurion Card are eligible to enter the Centurion® Lounge. This is handled by making reservations through Resy. Seats are limited to two for cardholders and four for those with the Centurion Card. The Centurion® Lounge offers:
- Curated Dishes by Michael Solomonov and Cedric Vongerichten, Centurion Lounge and Global Dining Access by Resy Chef Partners
- Curated cocktails and wine offerings
- Gifts
Same-day reservations open on August 26th and are released daily. Lounge access will be limited to one hour visits.
Card Member Lounge
Not to be confused with the Centurion® Lounge above, the Card Member Lounge is open to all American Express cardmembers. It’s located on the 2nd level of the American Express US Open Fan Experience. The air-conditioned space features snacks and drinks and provides phone chargers, massages, and more. Each cardholder can bring two guests with them.
Front Row Table With Don Angie and San Sabino
Another premium dining reservation is available through Resy about a month after the US Open. Chefs Angie Rito and Scott Tacinelli are bringing together their two restaurants, Don Angie and San Sabino. This dinner will occur on September 28th at 6:15 PM.
Enter via Lot A and follow the signs to the Players Entrance for this unique experience. Centurion Card and The Platinum Card from American Express cardholders are granted access to reservations first for $195 per seat. If any tickets remain after September 5th, they will be available to all other American Express cardmembers. Reservations are limited to four tickets per cardholder.
American Express® Radios
All cardmembers can show their card to receive a complimentary radio tuned to ESPN. This way they can listen to one match while watching another. Limit one per card. I’ve gotten several when I’ve been with guests by showing multiple American Express cards.
