American Airlines is expanding its culinary offerings across its premium lounges and offering travelers refreshed winter menus and new experiential food stations in select Admirals Club® locations beginning in January 2026. The upgrades highlight the airline’s commitment to elevating the lounge experience with seasonal flavors, chef-crafted dishes, and interactive dining options.

Seasonal Menus Arrive in Flagship® and Premium Lounges

Lounge guests in major hub cities will enjoy a variety of new dishes that showcase warm spices, hearty ingredients, and fresh seasonal produce. Each Flagship® Lounge features unique regional offerings this winter. These include:

Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) Flagship® Lounge

  • Curried artichoke orange salad with shaved fennel
  • Honey mascarpone and fig parfait with roasted nuts
  • Coconut lemongrass salmon with fried eggplant and chickpeas

DFW Salad

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) Flagship® Lounge

  • Beef bulgogi and poached egg bowl with sticky rice and kimchi
  • Mediterranean couscous salad with olives, artichokes and feta
  • Beet and farro salad with goat cheese

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Flagship® Lounge

  • Apricot and ginger pork loin with baby greens
  • Cinnamon matcha pancakes topped with mandarin orange syrup
  • Grapefruit and fennel goat cheese salad with farro and glazed pecans

Miami International Airport (MIA) Flagship® Lounge

  • Blistered shishito peppers with sesame chimichurri
  • Ghirardelli cocoa bar with mix-ins and toppings
  • Peruvian chaufa bowls with chorizo, tofu and seasonal vegetables

New York John F Kennedy International (JFK) Premium Lounges (Chelsea, Soho, and Greenwich)

  • Pulled short rib sliders (Greenwich)
  • Avocado tartine with mache salad and pickled shallots (Chelsea)
  • Signature burgers, including a house-made veggie patty and two Pat LaFrieda smash burgers (Soho)

Mini Pretzels PHL

Philadelphia International Airrport (PHL) Flagship® Lounge

  • Farro and squash salad with pomegranate and citrus vinaigrette
  • Mini pretzels with Yards beer cheese sauce
  • Custom pho bar with broth, noodles, proteins and fresh herb

New Action Stations Coming to Admirals Club® Lounges

Beginning January 2026, several Admirals Club® locations will introduce fresh bagel and waffle bars. These stations will be available to Admirals Club® members and eligible Citi® cardholders. Action stations include:

Waffle Bars AA

Guests can add maple syrup, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, fruit, sprinkles and more, with gluten-free options available. These will be found in Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), Miami International Airport (MIA), New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK), New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA), Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

Anthony’s Take: American Airlines continues to invest in enhancing the premium travel experience and these new menus look delicious. I’ll be definitely checking some out in the near future.
