American Airlines is kicking off 2026 with a series of inflight upgrades including expanded beverage offerings and refreshed meal selections across multiple cabins and international routes.

Beginning February 1st, passengers will have access to Athletic Brewing Company’s Free Wave Hazy IPA. This will be American’s first onboard non-alcoholic beer. The addition follows strong customer demand for Athletic Brewing offerings already featured in Admirals Club® and Flagship® lounges and reflects growing interest in premium non-alcoholic beverages.
American is also broadening its inflight drink menu with guest favorites from Q Mixers. These include Q Margarita Mix, Q Tonic Water, and Q Club Soda, and Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mix. For sparkling water fans, two LaCroix flavors: Lime and Berry will soon be added.

Food upgrades join the beverage refresh in early February. Main Cabin customers traveling on select routes within the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico will be able to purchase new menu items such as a chicken salad and Boursin cheese wrap paired with coleslaw and a lemon shortbread cookie. The meal will be priced at $13 or available for 1,300 AAdvantage miles on mainline flights.

American is also introducing new Premium Economy and Main Cabin entrée selections on US to international routes. These range from barbecue chicken with grits and beef fajita bowls to chimichurri chicken, hoisin chicken, vegetable yakiniku noodles, and honey mustard chicken. The additions are aimed at providing more variety and new flavors this winter.

Enhancements that actually are enhancements? Disturbing.
