Alaska Airlines is adding some luxe new amenities for premium travelers to experience the West Coast lifestyle while flying on the airline. New locally-sourced beverages, bedding, and bath amenities will soon be onboard domestic flights.

Espresso Martini

Straightaway Nitro Espresso Martini

Espresso martinis are my husbands drink of choice (well, one of them) and Alaska will soon offer Straightaway Nitro Espresso Martini (starting on November 20th). This ready-to-drink cocktail is made with coffee from Portland-based Stumptown Coffee Roasters and is an extension of the partnership announced in October 2023.

Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher

Alaska will be the first US major airline to serve hoppy water. This non-alcoholic beer alternative is popular among the health-conscious and craft beverage enthusiasts alike. Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher will be complimentary to all First Class and Premium Class guests and available for purchase in the Main Cabin. The beverage is made by the renowned Petaluma-based brewery.

Alaska Blanket

Filson First Class Blanket

Alaska has partnered with the iconic Pacific Northwest-based outdoor outfitter, Filson, to create a new blanket for First Class passengers on long-haul flights. The blanket is crafted from soft and durable fabrics to keep passengers cozy on board. These will start appearing early next month on select Alaska flights.

Salt and Stone

Salt & Stone Soap and Lotion

Salt & Stone soap and lotion are being introduced in all of Alaska’s lounges and onboard restrooms. These offer bright citrus notes of Italian Bergamot, grapefruit, and orange blossom along with vetiver, hinoki, and amber for a pleasing and soothing scent. Salt & Stone’s products reflect Alaska’s focus on self-care and comfort. These will be rolled out in early 2025.

Todd Traynor-Corey, Managing Director of Guest Products at Alaska Airlines, said:

Our guests value unique, high-quality experiences, and these new products allow us to elevate their journey while bringing a bit of regional pride to every flight. Partnering with Lagunitas, Filson, Salt & Stone and other West Coast companies is reflective of our commitment to support local brands and provide the ultimate premium guest experience.”

Anthony’s Take: Alaska continues to add little touches to its premium experience that elevate it among the US airlines. I love that it partners with local brands to add authentic touches to its soft product.
