Alaska Airlines is further expanding its network with several new nonstop routes launching in spring and summer 2026. The additions include three new seasonal routes from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) and four from Portland International Airport (PDX) to offer travelers more nonstop options and improved links to major destinations during the peak summer travel period.
Beginning in June, Alaska Airlines will add these seasonal routes to/from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC), including:
- Boise Airport (BOI) (2x weekly; runs from June 10th to August 15th)
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) (1x weekly; runs from June 13th to August 15th)
- Spokane International Airport (GEG) (2x weekly; runs from June 10th to August 15th)
With these additions, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) will offer 17 nonstop destinations to the Lower 48 and Hawaii, which is the most Alaska Airlines has ever operated from there.
From its Portland hub, Alaska Airlines will introduce four new routes beginning as early as March. New routes include:
- Bellingham International Airport (BLI) (daily; starts on March 18th)
- Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) (2x weekly; runs from June 10th to September 30th)
- Pasco’s Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) (2x daily; starts on June 10th)
- Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE) (daily; starts on June 10th)
Tickets for all routes are on sale now. Kirsten Amrine, Vice President of Revenue Management and Network Planning at Alaska Airlines, said:
Anchorage and Portland are essential airports to our guests and us in our growing global network. The state of Alaska remains high on the wish list of travelers, especially in the summer months, and we’re excited to add new nonstops to get them there. Portland is not only a great city to visit, but we also offer convenient nonstop connections for those continuing their travel across our wide network.”
Anthony’s Take: Alaska is increasing flights in some of its core markets and continuing to extend its West Coast network next summer. This is great news for these cities and the travelers that want to hit them up in the summer.
