  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
  • Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)
  • Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP)
  • New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
  • Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)
  • Portland International Airport (PDX)
  • Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
  • Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)
  • San Diego International Airport (SAN)

  • Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)

The new seasonal flights will run from June 14th to August 16th 1x weekly on Saturdays. These will be flown with Boeing 737-900 aircraft with 16 First Class, 24 Premium, and 138 Economy Class seats.

Marilyn Romano, Regional Vice President of Alaska at Alaska Airlines, said:

Summer is a tremendous time to visit The Great Land of Alaska with our long, warm days, tremendous culture and adventure, and amazing wild Alaska seafood. There’s so much to do around Anchorage, and the city is a perfect jumping-off point to venture out to communities across the state, as well as hopping on a cruise. For Alaskans, we now have even more nonstop destinations to visit family and friends this summer.”

Alaska E175

In addition to the two seasonal routes, Alaska will fly daily between Portland International Airport (PDX) and Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) from May 15th through August 19th using Embraer E175 aircraft. These offer 12 First Class, 12 Premium, and 52 Economy Class seats.

Anthony’s Take: It makes sense for Alaska Airlines to fly to/from Alaska. The carrier has focused a lot of attention on its Seattle hub, Hawaiian acquisition, etc. It’s great to see it adding service to its namesake (especially during high season).
