A passenger and Spirit Airlines’ agent had a rather heated exchange at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). It’s not entirely clear what happened before the video, but it ends with the agent saying, “f$%k you, too.”
@sightssoundsflavors Things you see when you travel as much as I do. The passenger definitely started it, but the airline employee lost the moral highground when she confronted the passenger for a second time. Initially she told her from the side taht she had a filthy mouth and embarrassed the passenger in front of 5-10 people. The passenger walked away and just kind of took it. The airline employee then came back and in a way wouldn’t let the passenger walk away. This is a very bad look for #spiritairlines but what do I know 🤷♂️ I get passengers can be VERY rude but 99% of the people who saw this weren’t privvy to what tbe passenger may have initially said. I know I wasn’t till after the second encounter when the airline employee said the F-word followed by “too.” #sightssoundsflavors #airport #flying #fortlauderdaleairport #fllairport #hollywoodairport #flightattendant #rudepassenger #boardingpass #cantwalkaway #airline #airlines #viral #trending #foryou #4u #fyp #parati #omg #savetiktok #strengthaddicts #fl #fortlauderdale #hollywoodfl #bullying #payback #abuseofpower 🤔🤷♂️
In the video posted to TikTok by @sightssoundsflavors, an airline agent is quickly scribbling down the information from the passenger’s boarding pass while telling her that “she’s not going anywhere.” The passenger seems to be in a security line. The description of the video reads:

Apparently, the passenger garnered this agent’s ire by cursing her out before the video. It appears that the woman was able to continue through security and the video ends with her off camera. While I’m not sure what happened, it usually takes a lot to get an employee to curse at a passenger. If there was any sort of safety concern (or anything that made the agent uneasy) she could have denied the passenger boarding, but it doesn’t seem like that happened here.
Anthony’s Take: We’ll have to see if any further details emerge around this situation, but it seems like both the passenger and agent are in the wrong here.

That’s the security checkpoint, not the gate. So must have happened either at check in or the agent was the one Spirit places at the checkpoint entrance to check for carry ons. So remains to be seen if she did actually get to board a flight.
