Airplane food is not something that gets people too excited. Even in premium cabins it can be lacking. Many carriers have been looking to upgrade the paid options offered on board and Air Canada now lays claim to having the largest in-flight, buy-on-board menu of any airline in North America.
Not only is Air Canada offering a bunch of a la carte options, they’re also selling meal bundles.
Additionally, it’s selling what it calls “Business Class Meals” in addition to other fresh items. Some breakfast items are above.
Lunch options offer similar Business Class Meal and fresh food options.
Anthony’s Take: I often find (especially when I fly United) that I’d prefer a cheese plate or a burger from Economy versus what is being served. Regardless of what cabin you’re seated in, these options look good.

Anthony clearly doesn’t understand how bad food is on Air Canada and how bad it’s been for decades. If he thinks this is going to be a magic wand and improve everything he’s delusional. Air Canada has failed miserably in their culinary department. I suspect there’s a bunch of old men and women that have been around far too long and are satisfied with the status quo. I.E smoked salmon starter and turdish omelette with undercooked sausage. 50 years of the same thing demonstrates there’s no creativity at Air Canada’s kitchens. Their food has been rated poorly by just about every poll imaginable. Until heads roll All Through The Culinary team nothing will change and it’ll be the same slp they’ve been serving for decades. Buy your food before you get on board.
