Aer Lingus will begin flying between Dublin Airport (DUB) with Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) on April 13th. The Irish carrier will become the 20th to serve the North Carolina airport with Dublin being the 82nd nonstop destination.
Flights will be offered 5x weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays using Airbus A321XLR aircraft. These have 16 Business Class and 168 Economy Class seats. Aer Lingus has grown its presence in the United States substantially over the past few years. It currently offers flights to/from Dublin Airport (DUB) and these cities in the US:

- Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
- Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE)
- Denver International Airport (DEN)
- Hartford’s Bradley International Airport (BDL)
- Indianapolis International Airport (IND)

- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
- Miami International Airport (MIA)
- Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP)
- Nashville International Airport (BNA)
- New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
- Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
- Orlando International Airport (MCO)
- Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)
- San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
- Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
- Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) has had some nice wins for travelers with nonstop flights added by Aeromexico, Air Canada, Air France, American, BermudAir, Copa Airlines, Icelandair, Lufthansa, and WestJet all offering international flights.
Anthony’s Take: I used to be in Raleigh once a month. I loved the ease of the airport and am happy to see it continue to grow (I just hope it doesn’t grow too much that it loses its convenience).
