The levels that match to ITA Airways can be found here.
ITA Airways is currently a member of SkyTeam (it has been for some time as it used to be known as Alitalia). Lufthansa is in the process of purchasing the carrier (more here) and it will become a member of Star Alliance in the near future.
ITA Airways Volare Elite Levels
There are three levels beyond the base level for joining. These include Club Plus, Club Premium, and Club Executive. It’s possible to match to any of these if you have the right status with another program. Here are the benefits by level:
- Club Plus is the first earned elite level. It offers an additional luggage allowance, priority boarding and check-in, free seat selection, dedicated customer service, additional points, SkyTeam Elite status, and more.
- Club Premium is the middle level. It offers all of the benefits of Club Plus, plus with lounge access, Fast Track security, SkyTeam Elite Plus status, and additional points.
- Executive Club is ITA Airways top level. It includes all of the benefits above, plus a welcome kit, free checked golf equipment, additional points, SkyTeam Elite Plus status, and an additional Club Premium membership to grant to a friend or family member.
I recently flew two segments with ITA Airways. One was okay and the other was pretty good. You can find these reviews here and here. Click here to complete your status match.
Anthony’s Take: If you have status with a competitor listed above then it makes sense to take advantage of this status match for access to SkyTeam benefits now and Star Alliance ones in the future.
