Delta Air Lines announced yesterday that it’s updating its in-flight wine offerings across all cabins this fall. After a lengthy selection process where Delta vetted over 1,300 submissions, 17 were chosen for its passengers.
The airline partnered with world-renowned Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, to curate a list that’s elevated, balanced, diverse, and delicious. Special attention was paid to ensure that each wine would be enjoyable at 35,000 feet (where taste buds are dulled and different flavors are accentuated).
Delta One®
Delta’s international Business Class cabin (known as Delta One®) will see a selection of two reds, two whites, a rosé, champagne, and port on each flight. Passengers will find printed wine lists with the selections for their flight. Upcoming wines include:
- Famille Perrin Chateauneuf-du-Pape (starting in December 2023)
- Jordan Cabernet (starting in September 2023)
- Luca “G-Lot” Pinot Noir (starting in December 2023)
- Susana Balbo Signature Malbec (starting in July 2024)
- Intercept, by Charles Woodson Cabernet Sauvignon (starting in September 2023)
- Invivo X, SJP (starting in December 2023)
- Bodegas Ontañón Tempranillo Blanco (starting in March 2024)
- House of Brown Chardonnay (starting in December 2023)
First Class
Domestic First Class passengers will get to enjoy one white and one red in flight. This will include Pebble Lane Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin
Delta will add new additions like Casa Saulita Chenin Chardonnay and diverse and women-run wine brands (Imagery Estate and Une Femme) to both international and domestic flights.
Anthony’s Take: Delta continues to invest to distinguish itself as a more premium airline. While it has made some serious missteps with the SkyMiles program and Sky Club® entrance policies, the Delta experience continues to be more luxe than its competitors.

After the skymilesgate, not even Don Perignon at libitum will make the trick.
