Spirit Airlines is celebrating 20 years of flights to/from the Peach State. To commemorate two decades of connecting travelers through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), Spirit has introduced a special anniversary promotion offering 20% off base fares for departing flights.

Spirit first launched operations in Atlanta in 2006 and has since played a significant role in expanding low-cost travel options for local residents and visitors alike. Over the years, the airline has helped increase competition in the market while providing budget-friendly choices for leisure and business travelers.

As Spirit looks ahead, the carrier is also continuing to strengthen its presence there with expanded service this spring. Spirit will offer 18 peak-day departures from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) starting this April. The airline will resume nonstop flights to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). It will also increase the number of daily departures to Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Travelers interested in taking advantage of the discount can do so by using promo code “20PCT” when booking. The offer must be booked by tomorrow, February 18th and is valid for travel between March 15th and May 20th. The promotion applies specifically to flights departing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Andrea Lusso, Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines, said:

Spirit has delivered unmatched value to ATL travelers since 2006, and we continue to play an important role in driving competition at the world’s busiest airport. We’re dedicated to serving the Atlanta community with reliable service and exceptional value, and we thank the ATL airport team for their support over the years.”

Anthony’s Take: Spirit’s anniversary celebration highlights both its long-standing presence in Atlanta and its plans for continued growth. If you are flying from the airport on an upcoming Tuesday or Wednesday, use this code to save.
